My 94 predator pics with upgrades
Just wanted to share my old predator for anyone who may appreciate it. This guitar has always been special to me since early teens and I only paid $140 for it. I recently had it refretted with stainless steel jumbos, had a new nut installed as well as vintage style Wilkinson tuners and installed a hotrail. I still have the original ceramic bridge pickup and the volume knob. This one does not have the bi-laminate neck, it has a maple cap instead. It's a very resonant guitar that sustains for days and has a great tone. It's a joy to play.

Very cool! It's always good to see older gear that's still getting played. I still play thru my '95 Classic 50 410.
What amp(s) do you play it thru and how do you like the Hot Rail in there?

I like the hotrail, it definitely breathed new life into the guitar and is much better for rock and roll but I also like the JB jr. Right now I mainly use a yamaha THR10 amp but I also have my old teal stripe peavey envoy. The envoy will disturb the neighbors across the wall so I mostly use the yamaha which sounds great at low volume.
