Greetings from Greece
I am an owner of a peeavey patriot 1987 made in usa. I ve bought this guitar when i was in high school which means i have it for 37 years. We had a school band and this guitar was literally my mistress at that time. since then due to studing, working, raising a familly she was neglected in her case, geting old like good wine. I since that time was playing only with my acoustic. Covid lockdown brought back tyhis old need to play an electric guitar. But had to revive her, rebuild and ugrade her.
so we started....
Sanding, making a new hole for neck humbucker, making, drilling holes for pickup selector and a tone, repaint refinishing, polisjing saddle and tuners, connecting the new humbuckers and reassembing her. It was an amazing proccess that made me happy bringing back and upgrating my old friend. 2 seymour dancan jb-59 humbuckers were used to fill the new and old holes and a bic lighter (which fitted perfectly in the gap) to block the tremolo. And the result is absolutely PERFECT. It plays and sounds amzingly good.
