T15 Tone capacitor

Post by Hapax87 » Fri Jun 05, 2020 8:18 pm

Can anyone tell me what is the value used in a stock T15 ? I looked up some wiring diagrams and couldn't read the number. Since it has single-coil pickups I was thinking about switching out the cap to a Black Bee .022MFD. Any thoughts on this change ? Would the .047MFD be better suited ? :?: :?:

The T-15 and Patriot both used the same pickups and wiring diagram. Both used .022 uf tone caps. The good news is, that's my tone cap value of choice for all my guitars. It rolls off a little bit of highs without dipping too deep into the mids.

P.S. Don't waste money on a "boutique" cap. An Orange Drop is more than better. (Grammatical sloppiness on purpose.) :D
