Is Peavey still making guitars?
Is Peavey still making guitars?
I've not been able to find any online retailers with any new Peavey guitars. Is Peavey no longer manufacturing them?

Warning: secondhand rumor.
Around the last week of June, there was a comment posted on a Youtube video of a guy demoing a HP2 (excellent player...Ruben Reza). The poster claimed that the entire USA guitar division had been laid off or let go that week. That comment has since been deleted, so take that for what it's worth.

Re: Is Peavey still making guitars?
Noticed the lack of actual Peavey guitars (they're only making overseas Fender clones) on their site, as I was hoping they still made the T-60 or something that sounded like it. Finding out they've stopped making guitars in the USA is sad news indeed. Was planning on making a 2-hr run to MS to check out the factory on my motorcycle when the weather clears...wonder if it's still open?

Not sure if this was the location you had in mind, but if you were sad before, you'll be depressed now:sumsmartassguy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 9:19 pmNoticed the lack of actual Peavey guitars (they're only making overseas Fender clones) on their site, as I was hoping they still made the T-60 or something that sounded like it. Well, that definitely saves me a trip...
Guess I'll just track down my wanted guitars & basses at pawn shops...
Every bassist should own a T-40 or T-45
And since I'm a twisted pup, gotta have a Mantis!!
