KB 5 issue with "C" note (makes twang sound)

Hi all,
I bought a KB5 last year (used) and it worked fine. Recently I've noticed there is a "twang" sound on all C notes, but most recognizable with Middle C. I can still use the amp it is just really annoying and I notice it every time I hit the note.
Product is not under warranty, but wondering if this is something common / can be fixed? I've played piano for years but have never had an amp before so I'm not sure what to do. I live in NYC, and it's a beast of an amp, so even taking it somewhere to be repaired would be a pain. No idea what to do, any advice would be appreciated.
