DPM C8 battery location/access
DPM C8 battery location/access
I currently use a DPM C8 MIDI controller that is in good working order. I want to check the battery status since they are known to damage the circuit board when they leak. It would be a shame to allow this to happen. Does anyone know the easiest way to open this up to look?
Re: DPM C8 battery location/access
It has been too long, I don't specifically recall the screws. But I never worked on a keyboard I couldn't get into. But I can verify the leaking battery is to be avoided.

@CoasterMB: Did you ever figure this out. I've just brought my DPM C8 out of a long storage, and am receiving a "low battery" message.

Opening the keyboard isn’t that hard. I did it on a 488 a few times. It’s just a lot of screws. I think you can follow the 488 pattern as a guide.
