Did you ask customer service for the schematics?
Good form would be to start a new thread for your unit, rather than tacking onto the end of a dead thread.
Look inside, has the dead battery leaked spooge all over?
I used to be an authorized service center, and I repaired my share of those, but frankly, when I encountered such a mess, I just boxed up the board set and sent it to Peavey. They work reliably and at reasonable cost.
Does the unit reinitialize and operate after power up, knowing it will forget at power down?
This forum is for talking about Peavey keyboard amplifiers.
