Max 250 sound problem

Post by KaraQ » Sat Jun 19, 2021 1:47 am

Hello :)

I've got a Max 250 I bought this past November, that just tonight started having an output issue?
It's not been banged around any, it sits in mostly the same spot in my living room.

It powers on, no problem there; but I'm getting no sound from the main speaker or headphones while playing.

If I push the mute/tuner button in, the tuner shows the notes I'm playing, so it's getting signal from the bass(es), from both inputs, at least to that point.

If I use the footswitch mute, I can hear a light pop through the main speaker when I switch it on/off.

I can connect my phone via the aux input jack, and get sound from both headphones & main speaker, from what's playing on the phone only.

So, the speaker and headphones are working, just not getting signal from the amp output when I play?

Any ideas about what I can check? Or does it just need to go for repair?
