Mini Mega effects loop.

Tried to use effects loop instead of running straight into amp.
When effects loop is activated i am getting a distorted signal.
To get rid of this, you have to turn the gain virtually off but this massively reduces the volume.
Anyone else had effects loop issues?

Hi Murf, actually intended to to do the same.
So what are you using in front of the effects return, preamps, booosters? Couldcit be that their output is to hot?

After a bit of trial and error, seem to have narrowed it down to my Sandberg bass.
When running the bass in passive mode the problem goes. Its only when its active
that distortion occurs.
