i am going to buy a reverb tank. it is hard to make out the numbers. it looks like 4FB201B. i cant find a reverb tank on the internet with that number. does anyone know what the number for it is.

4EB2C1B - most common reverb in the industry.

enzo i found this. i know the first four letters are right if i pick A for connectors i can unsolder one of the cables ground if need be. the last letter is B horizontal, open side down. i think the reverb tray i need is 4FB2A1B

I only use the Accutronics code, if Ruby sells equivalents with a different number, that is fine too.

8 pans are the short one for tight spots like the Blues Junior 4 pans are the full size ones like the Peavey wants. Next letter is E for a relatively high impedance. (Tube driven with a small transformer like a zillion Fender amps use A types.) Third character is almost always B.

enzo the 4EB2C1B reverb tank you mention is 600 ohms. my one 4FB2A1B is 1475 ohms. would that make much of a difference.

Probably work, after all these are just guitar amps, not lab gear.
