I've had a MiniMax over 5 years now and it has been a great amp. Until last night. Fired it up at a gig and the standby/tuner button was stuck in (in standby mode). It wouldn't disengage so I couldn't use the amp . Luckily had another amp to use so the night was ok.
Today I got it apart. The standby button has no numbers on it. The circuit board has Peavey MINI MAX PREAMP P15M304406. Did a Google search and came up with nothing.
As old as it is and as cheap as a new one is I'm reluctant to pay someone to fix it but could do the job if I could get the part. Any help appreciated.
MiniMax Standby Button failed
Re: MiniMax Standby Button failed
Oh, it is likely a common enough push switch. A photo would help. I don't have that schematic or I'd look up a part number.
Due to limitations at the factory, at least las I knew, Roger has suggested sourcing parts through Full Compass or similar place.
