So I just got the pine cabinet finished for my ValveKing II 112 50W
Had this made for me by TRM Cabinets. He made a nice cabinet. I think it fits this amp well.

Re: ValveKing II 112 50W
Thanks.
Next I’m going to put a DIN to 1/4 converter box on the back so I can use a single four button footswitch. I am going to make the pin out match the stereo chorus 212 footswitch.

Re: ValveKing II 112 50W
Thanks.
I haven’t completed the remote switch interface box yet, it’s still in the cue.
What is the VK Rotary Mod in your signature?

Re: ValveKing II 112 50W
I like the color. I'm tired of all the tweed stuff. It's everywhere.
The more I learn the more I realize how much I don't know.
Re: ValveKing II 112 50W
Tweed isn't as prevalent as fake black leather.
I mean, here is a somewhat older Peavey amp: And here is an old rotary amp from the 70s:
Not all that much of a difference... Aluminum bars and black fake leather.

Black is basic. For me it's not good or bad, it's just basic black.

Re: ValveKing II 112 50W
I agree. Black is fine, but pretty typically.
Thanks for the comments on the color. When I started I was going to completely match the factory appearance. I couldn’t find the matching grille cloth, so I decided to go to something completely different.

Re: ValveKing II 112 50W
"Completely different" or not: the look is perfectly consistent and nobody without detail knowledge would suspect that this was anything but original. A class job.
