Vypyr LEDs: sudden switch off

Post by nervykind » Wed Mar 15, 2023 2:06 pm

Hello, had an opportunity to "snatch" a Vypyr for cheap. Was intrigued since I knew it sounded huge.

After a couple of minutes of playing the LEDs switched off. The amp was "still there" and I somehow managed to make them switch back on again.
I also noticed a slightly loose input jack, which auses some hum when plug is not positioned the best way.
Is it possible that the LED problem has something to do with this as well?

lookiong forward to your answers.

The loose jack could have something to do with it. If it doesn't fix anything, do a factory reset.

Thank you. Already tightened the jack and while trying with headphones, I did not notice any switch offs.

Have to try louder again in case it had something to do with heat.

My new to me Tube60 has done the same thing twice at first use but not since. Not sure on cause, both times I was cycling through the encoder settings and assumed I overloaded a buffer of some sort.
