Stereo Chorus 400

Post by tripproo.7879 » Sat Mar 11, 2023 9:52 pm

I found a really good deal for one of these, so my question for everyone is simple. Are these good sounding amps?? What are the good things about it??? The bad things?? I already have a stereo chorus 70, and I'm not a big fan of it. Any and all information is highly appreciated!!!

I am guessing that you have a "Studio" Chorus 70 Stereo Series. I think that amp has two 8" speakers. If so the Stereo Chorus 400 Is a larger amp with 12" speakers. It probably sounds different. Better? I can't say. The sound you like will have to be judged by you. It's like asking if Busch beer is better than Budweiser.

Hopefully someone else has played both amps and can be more specific. I have owned a Studio Chorus 210. I like that amp and regretted selling it. That is the only amp with 10" speakers that I have owned and was surprised how much punch that amp had.
The more I learn the more I realize how much I don't know.
