Hello,
I just picked up what I am guessing is a first gen Valveking 112. The internal speaker is a hardwire 16 ohm with an external speaker out labeled "minimum 8 ohms" which disconnects the internal speaker when plugged in. The manual states that the external out is supposed to be minimum 16 ohms. What's up with that? Am I safe with an 8ohm external or 8 ohm load box? Thanks in advance!

Re: Valveking 112 Speaker Impedance
Not sure if you got an answer. But for this amp 16 ohm is the only e external speaker impedance available. You should not connect a lower impedance speaker cabinet or load box.
