Deuce 240 - All Transistor Model

Post by Guido » Sun Nov 13, 2022 12:17 pm

I am in the process of refurbishing a recently purchased Deuce 240 (all Transistor). I am trying to identify what appears to be an "output filter inductor" original to circuit. Does anyone know the values/properties of this inductor?

I'm kind of curious what happened to this "rebuild?"

This inductor is one of those parts you should never have to replace unless it fails.

For the rebuild I would stick to electrolytics and semiconductors and call it a day. Bump up those caps to 105 or military grade at 125. And try using MKL's in the signal side for cap replacements. Smoother response than those 2.2mF electrolytics.

I just finished up a Pacer rebuild and stuck to only electrolytics, semiconductors, and resistors and its as good as new again.

So how did this one go?
