Hello,
I have the famous low battery issue but before I (let) open it up, I just wanted to know, if somebody found an alternative to this battery format. I'd like to find some electrically identical solution, maybe 3 single cells which could be integrated into dedicated holders instead of having to solder again one day.
Do you know the memory chips designation so I could also try to find a non volatile? That would be an even better alternative. Seems like there was at least one 15 years ago, whose production was stopped. But maybe something else fits.
The least I could do would be wiring this terrible battery farer away from the board, but I hope to be able to find ssome more elegant solution.
Hoping and looking forward to some constructive answers.
