Classic 30 foot switches what is still available?

Post by JerseyJoe » Fri Oct 22, 2021 3:30 pm

All,

I have a 2013 Classic 30 amp and am interested in finding the 2 foot switches which go into the rear panel:
03054360 channel / boost
03051000 reverb

Are these still being made?

I have checked what is available on the Peavey website, Sweetwater and Reverb, but so far, no luck. Any hints?

many thanks.

I just checked the Classic 30 page on the Peavey website and both footswitches show as available.

If you have a Sweetwater Sales Engineer, give them a call and see if they have them in stock.

Peavey is still making Classic 30's, so they should still be making the footswitches.

JamesPaul,

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

Here is an issue. I do have the 03022910 (2 button) switch from Sweetwater, just arrived this week.
But things don't work as I expected. Please let me explain.

I plug the single cable into the reverb jack and yes, the number 2 foot button turns the reverb on and off, but does
nothing to the channel / boost. I then plug the single cable into the channel / boost jack and yes, the number 1 foot button
turns the channel / boost on and off but does nothing for reverb.

So by design, I need to buy 2 switches so that I can control both reverb and channel / boost simultaneously?
No one foot pedal will control both at once?

thanks,

Joseph

If by "checking what's available" you just looked on their web page, most places do not list everything they have in their online pages. CALL them and ask.

It is just a simple two-button stomp switch, most any of the type would work.
