NUAD! Classic 30 Special Edition, Made In USA!

Post by GreatDaneRock » Sun Sep 26, 2021 11:10 pm

5 days ago I took ownership of an excellent Peavey Classic 30 II Special Edition, bronco white tolex, all black appointments. Bought it from the original owner who barely played it. Amp was built in 2014, Made In USA. Got it for $380. It's loud and it sounds stellar!

I replaced V1 with a 5751 and left it alone. It comes with a great speaker, a celestion G12 V-type 70w. I was going to swap the speaker with an Eminence Swamp Thang, but I see no need given the quality speaker this amp comes with.

Oh, this amp is the replacement to my mint, circa 2008, Valveking VK112, also a great amp. Over the years I've realized I am not a 6L6GC power tube type of player, I gravitate more to EL84 power tube sections. So I'm thinning out the herd, and selling the VK 112.

I don't have an online picture hosting account, otherwise I would have posted pictures of the amp, but you can easily Google classic 30 bronco white special edition.

A few years ago, Peavey had a Custom Shop run of amplifiers. Many Classics were in the mix. Post some pics brother.

Mine must be part of the CS run, built on 2014. Good info, thx

Honest question, how do I post pics without a payed hosting account on Photobucket or similar? Today many of the bigger forums like TDPRI, where I spend most of my time, offer free picture hosting directly on the forum. No need to pay any extra anywhere else. I do understand this is a very small and niche forum, so if there's a way to post pics for free, I'm all about it.
