Hi,
I just recently purchased a MH and am unfamiliar with the cab sim option. Does this option mean that with the cab sim activated there is no need for a physical cab to be connected to the head? I only ask because I'm a bit of a noob at this stuff and I thought that trying to play through any head without a connected cab can cause damage.
Any assistance would be appreciated

Re: Peavey Invective MH Cab Sim Question
No, the cab sim is going to be EQ changes on the record out interfaces.
There is a pushbutton on the back, marked SPKR ENABLE DEFEAT. If you depress that pushbutton, it sends the speaker output to an internal dummy load and you can play thru it without a cab connected.
The Manual is available on the product page for additional information.
