70's Peavey Vintage guitar amp
I need to replace the Accutronics reverb can in my Peavey Vintage guitar amplifier 2x12 ,solid state pre-amp ,4x6L6.
Unfortunately the Accutronics reverb can code telling what type reverb can it is , is unreadable.
So i would like to know what is the code so I can replace it with the correct one.
Also, it is currently two spring type code starting with 4, can I replace it with three spring type, code starting with 9?
Respectfully

Re: Reverb can/3rd attempt
What amp do you have? Not all Vintage Peavey amps use the same tank. As far as the number of springs, that should not be a problem.
The more I learn the more I realize how much I don't know.

From his description, he has the hybrid.
In my opinion, an EB pan should work, and an FB pan probably better.
Pappy is right, the number of springs doesn't matter.
