Transtube Supreme "Bandit"

Post by techniciousd » Thu May 06, 2021 2:21 pm

Hello all,

I have a Transtube Supreme that I have been trying to chase a problem, and I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue.

I got this amp from a friend "broken." It looks like CR61 was marked and replaced. R113 was burned up and smoked, and the line fuse was popped. I check the diode that was replaced, and it was good. No other burnups, and the transistors on that line check good. It still keeps smoking the R113. Just looking for extra eyes and comments. Anything would be appreciated.

Q9 and Q14 are the current path for that resistor, plus a shorted collector to base in Q11, 13 can assist.
