Grease for repacking pots? Silver Stripe Bandit

Post by Neuroma » Tue Apr 20, 2021 1:42 am

I recently saw a YouTube video, where a chap recommended opening the backs of Bandit pots and putting grease in them, but I can't find that now!

I picked up a Silver Stripe Bandit yesterday, and one of the pots is open on the back, I've put it back together, and it works, but feels wrong, so I reckon putting grease back in, is the way to go. But what grease?

I have some dielectric grease here, is that OK to use?

I've used Deoxit F5 to get some lubricant back into pots. That's typically enough. In the past I haven't used any grease.
