Renoun 400 solo series 87 model year.

I've recently refurbished a peavey renoun 400 solo that a friend gave to me, the 2 12" speakers are what make this combo amp so darn heavy, but to be honest I'm in love with this old beast of an amp. When I say refurbish I'm talking about the cabinet, not any of the electronics or speakers or reverb bag. All that still works perfectly. All I did to the electronics was spray contact cleaner into the pots, and that stopped the crackling. I'm posting this to give a two thumbs up to peavey for the products they put out in the late 80's. I'm 48 now and I grew up in the 80's. Not much has survived from that era, but this beast of an amp has. I play on it regularly, and when plugged into the front in high gain jack I can barely turn up the volume, it's a really loud amp. Sounds pretty good for the age, affects loop still works great. I'm just amazed that this old beast works perfectly. Cudos to peavey. One hell of an amp.
