6505MH head - rhythm channel problem

Post by rleone » Wed Mar 10, 2021 8:55 am

Hello,

I have a 6505mh head that is showing a small defect, but I couldn't get anyone to fix it.
The rhythm channel is working with the post-gain of the lead channel. the green LED of the rhythm channel is not lighting up, but the channel is working. I can still change channels and change the rhythm channel boost normally. Only the volume is in one place for both channels.

Sometimes the green led lights up and the rhythm volume returns to work. But most of the time it doesn't.

Sometimes I leave the head connected with the standby in OFF for some time (about 15 min) and the rhythm channel led works, however when I put the standby in ON, the green LED of the rhythm channel goes out.

If anyone can help me, I appreciate it. Maybe I can solve it at home.

Sorry for my English.

I'd start by spraying some contact cleaner around the pots.

Thanks WrldEatr9

I already did that, but it didn't work. I am now suspicious of some bad contact, some cold solder.
