firmware, I killed my VIP 3 with V 1.58 accidently

Post by Gods_Fingers » Sun Mar 07, 2021 5:01 pm

simple to update, yes.....somehow, without me noticing, updater 2.6 grabbed a 1.58 syx and I didn't notice until it was in process. Now there's no USB/MIDI connection ......actually the AMP is in a coma. Is there a work around, install new chip.....or do I take it out to the woodshed with my 30-30.......

Thanks,
Dan

Did you try resetting it?

What happens when you call or email Peavey customer support?

there's a constant voicemail that due to covid they are too busy and not taking further service items, find a local service center........of which there are none to be found.......and no email response...........shoot,I wanted to sell it, not pay to fix it......
