Hello I am Jonta from Norway. I just bought a 6505+ from about 2010 (china made) There was no sound and the four preamptubes (V1-V4) did not glow. I changed the rectifier diodes for this fillament circut. And the amp works.
The lead channel is really good. Easy to dial in a tight and great high gain tone.
But the clean channel sucks...Its kind of impossible to get a clean tone, even at a low volume. Is this normal? Or is it something wrong with my amp?
I have tryed to change the preamptubes, but there is no changes. I will try to change the power tubes, but I dont think that will help eighter.
