Delta Blues amp came without footswitch #03022910.

Post by Jontennis » Thu Nov 16, 2017 11:45 am

I got a Delta Blues 30 watt 115 amp from Musicians Friend “open box” and it came minus the footswitch, item # 03022910 .After calling customer service for two weeks they finally tell me I would have to ship the amp back in order for them to send me a new one with a footswitch included.Sounds like too much to go through when it was their fault to begin with as I’ve already upgraded the tubes to Tung Sol . That means I would have to takeout the tubes, reinstall the originals repack it and send it off, waiting probably two weeks.Would’nt it be easier to just send me a footswitch?

Yes it would. You can get them pretty cheap. There's likely one in a box in the back of some store near you etc. See if they'll credit you for the cost of this: https://www.amazon.com/Peavey-03022910- ... dpSrc=srch

Here's another... http://www.fullcompass.com/searchresult ... y+03022910
I buy my replacement parts from them, they have just about everything you would ever need for your setup.

It might be less ball-ache in the long run to buy a double locking footswitch yourself. I use a Vox switch for my amp which cost less than shouting lunch for a friend - and no hassles.

What's a "double locking footswitch"?

I am going to guess that is right-pondian for two button latching switch pedal.

I agree it would be easier for them to just send you a pedal. On the other hand, doing that means anyone whop buys an amp can get a free pedal just by calling and claiming not to have gotten one.

That is not a small operation, the people in customer service never see the products, they might not even be in the same state or country. Their policy needs to cover everything. So it amounts to: you are happy with what you received or you are not. If you are, keep it, if you are not, send it back. As soon as they start adding "unless, in case, if" to that, it bogs the system down. That is the difference between getting the cheap price online somewhere, and buying from the local store where we all look in the box before you take it home.

I use a KoolKat 2 button PDB. Off eBay, works great, came quick, and it has a more retro look than the Peavey plastic one.

Hi all. Resurrecting this thread in hopes someone can help. Just got a Delta Blues 2-10" that came without a footswitch. I found a graphic for a 2 button switch, built one and it works fine. Found another graphic for a 2 button switch with LEDs, put it together but can't get it to work properly. The channel switching doesn't work at all and the LED for the trem lights to the rhythm of the trem when the trem is off. I've heard it can be done and that there is a pedal by KoolKat with LEDs. By any chance does anyone have a schematic or picture of a 2 button pedal with LEDs that work for this amp?

Many thanks,
Phil
