Currently have only two PV guitar amps:

a first generation Transtube Envoy 110, and

a Classic 50 head that now resides in a 210 Burgundy tolex combo cabinet built by Rob Hebert at Trutone Custom Cabs in Louisiana...nice guy, nice cabinet (can't figure out how to post a pic of it from my computer's pics - any help would be appreciated!).

The head was actually an old Blues Classic, which I purchased from PVholic and had sent to Rob for the build (thanks, Charlie!). It has two Reverend All-Tone 1025 speakers in it, and sounds great - and is much easier on this old guy's back than a 410!

Classic 30 with a Greenback in it & 112-E, Bravo with custom ext cab w/ Governor and Hellatone 30, Valve King 112, Valve king 212, Basic 112, TNT 160, Danelectro Nifty Fifty. A lot of custom cabs, I like NOS tubes.

Too many amps for now, but not a lot of $ tied up. That's part of the beauty of Peavey, eh?

I'll get a fancy "group pic" & post later, but I have a VTM 60 (brown panel), a Triple X 2x12 cab. For guitars: an H.P. Special, two Detonator JX's (my main guitars), & an old Fury bass that sounds quite awesome. Always shopping for Peavey gear that fits my needs!

I currently have a Peavey Prowler. It's taken a lot of tweaking to find the tones I want but they are definitely in there. I recently bought a BBE Sonic Stomp and run it through the effects loop. Man, what a difference it makes! Both channels sound better, as do any other effect pedals I use with it. I also have a Peavey Rage for practice, which is a sweet little amp. I have previously owned a Transtube Bandit I, Transtube Bandit II, and a Classic 30. I would love to own a Classic 50 212 and 5150 combo in the future.

Bandit Trans-Tube and Classic 30. Got the C-30 in early September, then was told "... we want a bass player" before I even brought my guitar-- a good thing, considering I now rock my 2000 Peavey GV graphite-necked 5-string every Sunday. At home the practice bass amp is a Peavey Max 110.

And, this is my first time on the Peavey Forum -- I joined 15 minutes ago.

I just bought a Peavey ValveKing 112 about a month ago, trading in my Peavey VT-Series Classic 212. I had the VT-Series since 1979, felt bad about letting it go, but my back just couldn't take the weight and the stages we're playing sometimes wouldn't allow even a 2x12 combo (we're an 8-piece band).

Hi! I am new here. I own a Classic 30, tweed, original cabinet style, and my son will receive a Vypyr 30 tomorrow that I purchased a week or so ago and have been learning to use and tweak the presets on. I have an open question about using multiple stomboxes and effects on the Vypyr in that forum if anyone has an answer for how to do that. I really love my Classic 30 and am looking forward to helping my son learn about his Vypyr 30.

Currently:

Solo battery powered amp. No effects at all, but the loudest battery amp I've heard, and it stays clean all the way up.

Red stripe Transtube Envoy 110.

1980 Hernia 500. I mean Session 500... Great clean amp.

Black-box Transtube Revolution 112 with matching 112SX extention cab.

Tweed Classic 50 410 with matching 115 extension cab.

peavey JSX: JJ KT77 standard kit from Eurotubes.
peavey XXX slant cab with 4x WGS British Lead speakers
XXX straight cab - stock.

i boost the gain channels with a Bodenhamer modded TS-7. it also makes the cleans sound better to my ears, and with the drive dimed gives me an amazing crunch tone the amp just cant attain.

i've used this amp for all sorts of rock and metal.
