Mace Automix Footswitch Baseplate

Post by Lamf77 » Thu Nov 16, 2023 4:17 pm

I recently scored a Peavey Mace VT amp, the seller had a functioning Automix footswitch, only issue is the bottom, or plastic baseplate is missing. I have search to no avail. Any suggestions or vendors who carry would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's going to be a hard part to come up with and if you do find an old original due to age it may not survive putting it on. If I needed one I would make one out of wood.
The more I learn the more I realize how much I don't know.

How would one do that?

Go to a Dollar store and get a thin plastic cutting board. Cut it to fit the body and tape it on. Simple to do and if you need to access the wiring just cut the tape off.
