1980 Peavey Bandit Solo Series need HELP
I saw on a forum or two that my style of Bandit was made starting in 1981 but mine is from 1980 based on the serial number and markings on the circuits. Having trouble finding parts is this a one off? Does anyone have info on servicing the foot switch - reverb etc.?

These amps started out as the "Bandit" (sometimes reffered to as the Gunsmoke Bandit) then became the "Solo Series Bandit" which is probably what you have based on the SN. The next one was the "Solo Series Bandit 65".
You will see variations of most of the models as they progressed the technology. Contact Peavey and they will send you a schematic. And they have a good parts department.
If you search this forum you will find a lot of info on the Bandit Timeline.

All I have found are Bandit 112 schematics. I will keep looking but every timeline for Bandits are incorrect. It's apparent that they made the Solo Series in 1980. I had a similar issue while rebuilding a Rhodes and the Silverface Champ that was sold with it. If anyone locates a .pdf schematic please post a link.

Send an email to Peavey at: [email protected] Ask them for a schematic. Include the name and serial number of you amp. They are usually pretty quick to respond.

And tell them exactly what the amp is called. Bandit and Bandit 112 are different amps, so just because your Bandit may have a single 12" speaker, don't call it a Bandit 112 unless it says that on its face. Maybe this one?

Peavey got the info. Regardless if anyone has a "Gunsmoke" Bandit or the Solo Series the schematic supplied for the original Bandit is correct. I doubt the Gunsmoke ever saw production and was only used for marketing. I got this one from a small music shop in Illinois that they used as a display. If anyone has a real picture I would like to see it.
