Tweed Tolex - protectant / coating ?

Post by netrecce » Sat Aug 01, 2020 1:30 am

The tolex on my Delta Blues 115 seems dry after 15 years.
Anyone here use a protectant or coating?

The look never really did anything for me, however some used to shellac their tweed covered amps.

I'm thinking today one could probably use one of the latest generation clear waterproofing sprays, Scotchguard Water Repellent & Sun Shield comes to mind, but I could be wrong. I've been wrong before.
