looking for model of a woofer

Post by cheonmu » Tue Nov 09, 2021 2:55 am

Hi,

I am looking for the model name of the woofer in the picture below.

The only information I know is that it is a 15 inch and black window series.

There was no detailed model name written on it.

Can you tell me the exact model name of this woofer?

Thank you.

What is the impedance? With the impedance, we might be able to look it up in one of the charts.

If you measure it, the DC resistance will be slightly lower than what it would be rated on a label. i.e. 7 ohms instead of 8. Do not worrry about that.

Hi, Thanks for answering.

I checked using Multi meter and I think that woofer is 8 ohm.

Model is usually on a small white sticker on the side of the frame

Enzo knows more about this stuff, than the rest of us combined. But if the sticker is missing, one of these would be my guess.

I should have asked earlier, what is the speaker in? It appears to be mounted to a baffle. The equipment model lets us look it up.
