My wife asked me to research and ID an amp that used to belong to her father.
It does not have the sticker on the bottom with a model number.
it is from the 70's
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Need help to ID unit
No sticker on the bottom with the model number? Well, that is because the name of the model is right on the front panel. Your amp is a Classic.
Specifically your Classic is of the first run, we refer to as Series A. Series B Classic came later and has different input jacks than yours.

What Enzo said, Classic "A Series". From 1973 according to the serial number.

Yes that looks almost brand new, not nearly 50 years old.
