Re: IPR2 3000 wont power on
Are they both plugged into the same circuit? Could one circuit breaker be tripped?

Re: Escort 6000 Question About the Monitor Out
Apparently so. I see the small, white push buttons that let you assign a channel to the monitor mix, but I see no knob that lets you adjust the amount of that channel that goes into the monitor mix. I guess that will be determined by the amount that goes into the main mix--just as you said. I person...

Re: Peavey XR1220 - Sig light stuck on
I see you have the gain turned down on channel five. If you unplug all connectors from the channel, does the light still stay on?

I, too, have used the Speakon/1/4" adapter cables and have never had a problem.

I looked under "CORPORATE" >> "PUBLICATIONS" >> "PRODUCT CATALOGS". I downloaded the 2019 catalog. The entire line is shown there, for what it's worth.

I feel your pain! It's aggravating and depressing to see this happening to Peavey.

Re: 15" Black Widows (8 ohm -vs- 4 ohm)
The 4-ohm speaker has a sensitivity rating of 97.5 dB, whereas the 8-ohm version is rated at 100.3 dB; so the 8-ohm speaker gives more volume at the same power level as the 4-ohm speaker.

Re: Sp2 "P" powered speakers
I agree with you guys. I kind of get the feeling that Peavey is counting on the rest of the world to buy the products that Peavey has been selling to us here in the U.S. in the past. They have been left behind in developing new innovative products, so now they just sell what they have to the Russian...

Solid state amps can be run without speakers attached. Tube amps should not.

Thanks for the update, Tommy. I'm sure that a lot of us out here were curious about your cabs, too. I know I was, even though I don't have any. I remember hearing them back in the day...

Re: FX24 Mixer question
I'm guessing here, because I haven't used one in a long while, but I think you can set all the effects to "None" or "Zero" or something like that. I think you are forced to select an output mode, e.g. "Stereo" or "Dual Mono", etc.

Have you considered the Peavey KB series of keyboard amps? They are purpose-built for keyboards and you can get one from 20 to 150 watt output.

Re: How to set crossover frequencies on IPR2 3000 DSP
It's one of those deals where you'll just have to mess with it in order to figure it out. Turn your amp's sensitivity (volume) controls full counterclockwise, get into the crossover mode and start pushing and twisting knobs.

Re: Mixing PVXP 12s & 15s
If you want more speakers for broader coverage, it would be better to buy two more of the 15" models like the ones you now have. Even though the 12's and the 15's are spec'ed alike regarding power handling, frequency response, etc., the 15's will actually put out more bass than the 12's. Using dissi...
