Re: New Appreciation for Super Ferrite Pickups

I'm on my second mahogany hardtail Patriot. My first one got stolen and I missed it for years. Finally broke down and bought another one like the first. :-)

I've always liked the two Super Ferrite pickups that come on Patriots. They are getting hard to find now as more people are appreciating them.

Re: Peavey EVH Wolfgang gig bag

Yes, I was looking at US Ebay. I checked there first because Reverb is kind of notorious for high prices. I've gotten good deals at Reverb, but they seem to be a little unusual. Sorry I couldn't help, but those prices are so far from anything I can find that I suspect something going on in the curre...

Well, there are two on eBay right now. Both brand new with tags for $89.99 each, one also says obo.

Re: Patriot neck joints & T-15

Patriot_T-15 Guitar Wiring Diagram.pdf To the best of my knowledge, you are correct about the electrics being the same. I've never been around a T-15, only a couple of Patriots. I did find a Peavey schematic that it titled: "T-15®, PATRIOT™, PATRIOT™ '86 WIRING DIAGRAM (Rear View)" on page one and ...

Re: tube shortage @peavey

... I have a early 60's Hammond L100 Tonewheel organ and live it sounds amazing. It has a tube power amp with 2 EL84 output tubes. I made a line out loadbox to hook it to a 100 watt head with a 412 and that sounds Deep Purple all day long. Most of the tubes are the original Mullard Brimar except fo...

Re: Peavey Nitro 1 locknut issues

Wow. That’s a nice neck. I’ve never seen a Predator with a fancy birds eye maple neck. Thanks man! I completely lucked out, it's flamed, and birds eyed, it must have been a personnel's personal one-off project  It looks scalloped, but it's not, the flame figures are somewhat in sync with the ...

Great! I'm glad to know that you are enjoying it now after the doubts at first.

It is a fine looking guitar. :D

Re: New to the Forum

... I do have a small problem. In the process of working on the amp, I banged the chassis and an IC Chip fell off the board and disappeared. It is the MN3101 in the chorus circuit. Anyone know where I can get one of those? Have you even noticed that any time you drop a screw or a small part it disa...

Re: Peavey DW-2 Dreadnought Acoustic

I don't know what came on the DW-2 guitars from the factory but 12-53 sets are considered "Light" for Acoustic Guitars and may be what came on it. (That's "Light" vs. "Extra Light" or "Custom Light"; just normal Light) There is no reason that 12-53s shouldn't work fine. My personal preference is for...

Inventory tag, that was the term, I couldn't think of it. Hey, I'm old... All I could think was "asset label" and that sounded wrong.
Well, inventory counts as an asset on the balance sheet. Technically correct. ;-)

Re: Need an approximate date of manufacture

I am not a date guy, but is there another tag on the bottom of the amp, a tag that says Peavey and all.? I don't know older serial numbers, but that doesn't look to my eye like a Peavey number tag. I could be wrong. If my customer demands to know the age, I look on the controls and transformer for ...
