Re: PV 14 USB - problem in recording

Ah okay. The way I described it was for a Windows 7 and up computer, it looks like you're running Windows XP. That's probably not the problem anyway, usually when you install a generic audio device like the PV14 USB the default levels will be fine. Is there another computer you can try the mixer with?

Re: PV 14 USB - problem in recording

Windows has a level control for both the input and output audio for your audio device. If you want to check the audio level going from your PC to the audio device, go to "Control Panel -> Sound -> Playback -> Speaker Properties -> Levels". Did you check the status of the button I mentioned in the pr...

Re: PV 14 USB - problem in recording

Hi FogaSound, There is no specific driver to install for the PV14 USB mixer, it uses a generic audio driver that is already included in Windows. Your issue is probably not caused by any driver problems since your able to output audio successfully. Are you sure the "Tape/USB To Mix" button is pressed...

Re: PV6 BT Bluetooth

The Bluetooth on the PV6-BT is a standard Bluetooth receiver for stereo audio, so anything that outputs Bluetooth audio (i.e. an iPod Touch, iPhone, Android, tablet, computer, etc.) can send it wirelessly to the mixer. It's convenient and you don't have to remember to bring a 3.5mm cable with you if...

Re: PV 6 USB - Recommendations for condenser mic

Hi Renzr, There will usually not be any microphone recommendations in a mixer's user's manual because, as long as the mixer provides phantom power, all microphones will be compatible. I'm sure there will be some people on this forum willing to help you with condenser microphone recommendations, but ...

Re: +48 v phantom power

No, it will not damage dynamic microphones. The only thing you need to worry about is ribbon microphones. Some will tell you not to apply phantom power to it.

Re: PV 14AT is SUPER quiet. Is it broken?

What are you outputting your signal to? The PV14-AT is not a powered mixer, therefore its outputs need to go to powered speakers or a power amplifier that's connected to passive speakers. Are you maybe running the outputs straight to passive (unpowered) speakers? Can you listen through the headphone...

Re: PV14 Mixer backing tracks with click

The A/B switch switches between which of the inputs goes to channel 13/14. If it's in the A position, the source for the channel is the 1/4" jacks. If it's in the B position, the source for the channel is the RCA jacks. And yes, it will only come out of the right speaker, but if that channel was pan...

That sounds like something is wrong with the LCD. Contact Peavey Customer Service, this should be covered under warranty.

Re: PV14 Mixer backing tracks with click

Hi brawders, First, can I confirm that you are talking about the old PV14 mixer ? We just came out with a new PV14-AT mixer which would change the response to this question slightly. I'm going to assume you have the old PV14. Yes, you can definitely do what you need with this mixer. If you have an 1...
