Re: Various Vypyr models

I have a VYPYR 75 and a VIP 3. For the extra $100 I would waist no time getting the VIP 3. I am retired, If I were younger I would go for the VYPYR PRO. (now $499)

Re: Typo in 1st gen UG "P1 LEVEL, P2 DRIVE"

I may be asking something incredibly stupid, but... UG for 1st gen Vypyr describes controls for TubeScreamer as Parameter Adjustment: P1 LEVEL, P2 DRIVE I swear my ears tell me opposite. P1 must be drive and P2 level. Can anyone confirm? Thanks. I have a 1st gen VYPYR75 and VIP3. The TubeScream par...

Quickly googled, and its preamp stage is also 'transtube', which is SS. Looks like the only SS amp, I aware of, having the standby switch.
The standby switch on the vypyr pro is to allow you to play and record with the power amp shut off.

I can't figure out how to update the firmware. Using the app on windows 10 it says the latest is 1.33. The website says 1.37. I downloaded the syx file but don't know how to use it
You need to download the updater then install 1.37 syx from the updater.

Re: Vypyr Edit Pro Software

Anybody using this software with the Vypyr Pro 100? The Tremelo is not showing up under effects. Also under the Utilities tab when I turn on or off the toggle switches for Delay or Reverb is doesn't do anything. Suggestions? Type ( Vypyr Edit Pro 1.0.0 ) in the search window. Then on the fifth page...

Re: Vypyr VIP-2 - questions about stuff i didn't find in the manual

Number 1; Is answered in (Re: VIP1 Amplifier Settings - Options). presently 3 topics down from this one. Number 3; The answer is no, there is no way to change noise gate parameters. Number 2; Pitch shifter needs a sanper 1 or ll for foot control, also there are MIDI controllers that can be used. Wit...

Re: Sanpera II bank description and amp sound won't scroll up or down

Hi, I need some help getting the banks of my "newly acquired from Ebay" Sanpera II to scroll up or down. On the display screen the numbers and letters on the left change when the bank button is depressed up or down, but the amplifier descriptions and sound stay no matter how many times the buttons ...

Hi, what's the differences beetween the stompbox chorus and the chorrus (rack) in the Vypyr. I've noticed the BC Chorus is more warmer,
All The stumps work like inline pedals (before the preamp). The effects work like pedals in a effects loop (rack effects) after the preamp.

Re: VIP1 Amplifier Settings - Options

Think of it as three amps. Green is a clean modal, Orang is a crunch modal, and Red is a dirty or overdrive modal. They all sound different and can be changed by changing the pre-amp and post-amp controls and saving them as a preset. Each bank has 4 presets. (green, yellow, orange, and red) A list o...

Hi ,I want to buy a studio sennheiser headphone (HD 280 pro) which has 64 ohm impedance for guitar practice .
The thing is I don’t know if 64 impedance is proper for this amp.will it sound good?
Tnx
Any high quality studio headphones will work. I recommend noise cancelling headphones.

Autotune only applies to the AT-200™ AutoTune Guitar owners. If you do not own a AT-200 you will have no problem.

Re: Need help with VIP issue

Have this weird sound issue, attached a video of the problem. Anyone seen this before/have any ideas for a fix? I hear two sounds. One sound like electrical arcing or sizzling. Check for loose connections, also check your boards for burnt spots. The other sound could be a background noise or a grou...
