Been a while guys. Hope everyone is well. Most likely by late March early April I will be offering up for sale the above aforementioned speakers.
Putting my feelers out there on this forum first to see if anyone is possibly interested.

Re: Okay, I am just stupid with this VSX26... HELP!
What is the size of the memory stick? If it is too large, the VSX does not like that. I have several settings for numerous VSX's saved on a 128MB stick. I started running into the same issue with any stick larger than 256MB. The stick does not need to be large at all. The files for the VSX are small.

Re: Can 4 Ohm speakers be changed to 8 Ohm via a basket chan
The Thiel Small B/L parameters will change. It's the amount of flux B that are in the voice coil gap. If this is for a subwoofer the porting would change. Also, how will you be loading this speaker? That can also change the the impedance the amplifier actually sees. Take for instance the old FH1 bas...

Re: sp218 owners....vertical, horizontal, and what pole???
You may need to add a SA1 pole adaptor. Order them online. Just make sure you don't cut into any internal cross bracing and use something to really make the fitting airtight once in place. Subs. If center clustered, I prefer them to be on their sides. If deployed stage left/ stage right, I run them ...

Re: Pole adapters
I use an electric whench I got at Harbor Freight to lower and hoist up speakers and lighting fixtures. Works like a charm. 250# weight limit.

Re: Pole adapters
The measurement I took is for insertion into a cabinet that you have cut a hole into that needs the cup adapter.

1&7/8". I measured close to the base plate because the cups flange outward.

Re: Marty !!!!!!!!!!!! more info on this please
Cables can inductively pick up EMI from other cables. But I don't think what you did caused the amp(s) to go bad. It was something else.
If you must cross cables, cross at 90 degrees if possible.

Re: VR-124
I'll be using a pair of the 124's next month as a secondary aux fed sub system. The rest of the system is VR218's, Qw215's and Qw1's. IMHO, I don't think I'll need these subs with any of my systems, the summing effect of four VR218's will more than handle what the 124's put out in a pair for the ext...

Re: Bi amping SP6s
If you're buying new, and really want to upgrade, just buy the QW2. Less transducers, but way better performance, and most likely more suited for your application. The SP6BX's are a quasi 4 way cabinet meant to be used as a stand alone full range speaker, not with subs. You can tri-amp this setup wi...

Re: The NL-8 Speakon input - do YOU use it...and how?
My no sense, because I don't have 2 cents, is that I use the 8's for installs. Example: QW215 8 in to a 4 out to the QW1's 4 in. I even use the 8's on the VR218's. 8 in to the 4 out with a small jumper to the adjoining VR218's 4 in. I wouldn't want to lug around 8 conductor for mobile application. T...
