20+ yr old Impulse 200P needs potentiometer

Does anyone know a compatible part source replacement for the volume control / potentiometer / variable resistor for The Peavey Impulse 200P powered speakers? I think they’re from from the late 1990s so at least 20 years old. As with all analog equipment, the variable resistor is corroding and going...

A simplified gym user interface?

I would like to resolve some problems I deal with for a multipurpose school gymnatorium / stage / classroom sound system that has multiple microphone sources and two "main" but separate outputs, one for the gym ceiling speakers, and one for the stage speakers. The current setup uses a pro-grade Yama...

That's for another thread I think. This thread is now already an incredibly useful Googlable resource for anyone else looking for flying / suspension product lines from Peavey.

Re: Enclosures certified for flying?

(EDIT: Whoops, looks like we both had the same Google search idea at the same time. Posts deleted.) I've been doing some more research, and what I've found is that Peavey's built-in site search is basically terrible. Google site search does a much better job of things. site:peavey.com "flown" -forum...

Enclosures certified for flying?

While reading a Peavey speaker specification page, I see this: "Peavey does not supply hardware required for the manufacturing of flying systems, and recommends that builders should not suspend or fly any enclosure not certified for such applications." So which Peavey speaker enclosures can be flown...

Replacement woofer for SP 6G enclosure?

Is there a replacement woofer for the SP 6G enclosure? We've got one with a melted voice coil that sounds like a kazoo at low frequencies. The owner's manual says it used: SH 12862 12" Sheffield woofer I cannot find this woofer model on the Internet. SP 6G Owner's Manual: http://www.peavey.com/asset...
