Ring/Feedback in one amp head but not the other....??

I own a Windsor head and a Valveking head. the tubes when put into the Windsor head seem microphonic but not in the VK. I am running Ruby EL34B STR's in the Windsor with Sovtek 12AX7 LPS @ V1, 2, and 3. the only difference in these amps are the Power tubes which are JJ6L6's in the VK. when you power...

Re: Guitar Rig 3 - Anyone tried out the demo yet ?

I have Full versions of GR 5, Amplitude 3, and Revalver. The GR is just a clean model of some amps with little versatility, compared to RV. Even Amp 3 offers more tweaking on individual components. I like the RV for the component level tweaking it offers. not the cleanest but, even my clean playing ...

I want to go device to laptop usb, then device to amp. Laptop only has usb 2.0 connections and 1/8" headphone output don't want to us...

Picking up P.A. system

My V.K. 100 excessively amplifies the vocals in the house when guitar is plugged in. I use a variety of axes, from a Strat with noiseless pickups, a Les with Duncan humbuckers , and a PRS with potted pickups. when punching in with volume pedal, you can hear the vocals clear as day. I also use a Boss...

Microphonic tube or, pickups?

My Windsor head amplifies everything in the house when I plug in. All vocals, keys, anything going through the main system can be heard through my amp (only) when a cable is plugged in. Using 30.00 monster cables so, I don't think it's that, could it be bad tubes, or pickups needing to be potted? Al...
