Re: Correct fuse for the XR800F
So I got myself some 6 mm x 32 mm fuses (equivalent to the 1/4" x 1-1.4" I believe), and the fit nicely width ways. But they're too long! Can't push the fuse holder in. Either, I need an odd sized fuse (I did find some 6 mm x 25 mm). Or the fuse holder is wrong? Does anyone know how I can find the e...

Re: Correct fuse for the XR800F
Of course, here's the picture of the back panel. So a 4 A slow blow, cool, thank you. So the correct size fuse is 6.35 mm? Searching "TL4a" fuses, I can't find anything... Search results seem to suggest 4a slow blow. And other 5 mm fuses show (e.g. the T4A fu...

Re: XR800F Repair?
Yeah you're right of course! Do you know how I could go about locating these transistors? I've found some schematics, but struggling to pinpoint them. It states "TL4a 250V" right next to the fuse holder on the back panel. I did try contacting Peavey via email to ask about the exact fuse and possibly...

XR800F Repair?
Hey everyone! Hope you're all well :D I was given an amp/mixer unit (Peavey XR800F) to try and diagnose, having some experience in such things. The unit seems to blow when plugged in and powered on. I cannot see any obvious signs of electrical damage, blown resistors, bloated capacitors, dodgy conne...
