You did not mention the brands and styles of guitars you own.

Also, did not mention the make and model PUP'S....! * ! * !
I have a fender strat hss, a Jackson 7 string and a sg copy.

Both strat and sg have a higher output humbucker then the Jackson.

Re: Peavey 6505MH Crunch Volume drop

The forum cares, at least as far as if anyone has an answer for you. If we have no answer, we give no response. As to Peavey, in my 30+ years as a professional tech, and factory authorized service center for Peavey and many other brands, I will state positively NO ONE in this industry has better cu...

Re: Peavey 6505mh. Did peavey fixed the overheating problem?

It was not an overheating problem with the amp. It was an overly aggressive protection circuit in the amp. The fix went into production in March 2016. Unless your amp is truly NOS, it should already have the fix. If your amp should pre-date the fix, it will still be corrected under warranty. You ca...

Re: PLEASE HELP... VYPYR VIP 1 USB problem

Its not gonna work trust me i tried it. Might work with other daws. If you wanna record use the headphone output and connect to your interface. Use this type of cable https://www.guitarcenter.com/Livewire/Essential-Interconnect-Cable-35-mm-TRS-Male-to-1-4-TS-Male-5-ft-Black-1500000013596.gc?adlpxid=...

Re: some guitars dont sound good?

"red channel on max..." High output pickups dont like this, and higher gain the amp models amplify the buzz and noise inherent in any pickup to a greater degree than a twin or bcat. Back off on the gain and see if you cant solve the noise issues, or at least make it manageable. Try the compressor, ...

Re: some guitars dont sound good?

Guitar "SET UP" is extremely important. PUP'S must be at right height. Strings must be at right height. Intonation must be set. Have your guitar ready, willing, and able. yes all that has been taking care of. but issue continues. i notice when i lower the tone knob of the guitars the problem stop. ...

Re: the 6505 sim to much bass?

Does your amp have a resonance setting? Also an EQ in the effects loop never hurts.

I know this is an old post couldn’t log in. It’s doesnt and no effects loop I have the vypyr vip 3. I don’t get where this low end is coming from if the bass tone is set to 0.

Hello guys, can the old silver sanpera work on my Vip 3? Reason for asking, someone is selling one cheap.
Yes, Only the case is different color(black). On the sanpera 1 button 4 is marked different.
Thanks! so its just the color.
