Re: Peavey T-27

I have the T-26, (3 "square" singles). I also have several Patriots. IMHO, all the Peavey's with those strange square rail pups are rare. Be they Super Ferrittes or the smaller single-sized. If it was just cosmetics, no one would care. But they sound amazing. They all have a unique jangle and chime ...

Re: Wondering what I've found inside my new Peavey T-60

Gorgeous T-60. Since you have the original specs, and someone has already messed with it, just clean it up and start over. Here's the original diagram that I have: (Right-click this and save it.) Peavey T-60-20wiringlarge.jpg P.S. Peavey did something that's both interesting and strange with the T-4...

Re: T15 Tone capacitor

The T-15 and Patriot both used the same pickups and wiring diagram. Both used .022 uf tone caps. The good news is, that's my tone cap value of choice for all my guitars. It rolls off a little bit of highs without dipping too deep into the mids. Patriot_T-15 Guitar.pdf P.S. Don't waste money on a "bo...

Dual DeltaFex versions?

When I look for info on the Dual Deltafex, I always see two different faceplates. They appear to be the same unit functionally. Are they? Is one simply newer than the other? P.S. I have the "top" one.

Thanks all.

Re: Peavey Dual Deltafex processor

I know this thread is 6 years old, but if I found it in a Google search, someone else might also. Yes, you can do what you want. If you want one effect for one source, and another effect for a different source, you run "Dual Mono." If you want two effects for one source, ie., a single guitar, then r...

Re: Dual Deltafex

I probably shouldn't answer this, since in the 4 or 5 years I've owned mine, I've never actually turned it on. (Long story. It fell off a shelf.) But studying the manual, I'm fairly certain you can only put one effect on one channel. Even the part in the manual that talks about doing delay + reverb ...

Re: Predator tone knob question

That's bizarre. I can't think of any failure mode of a pot that would react that way, but stranger things have happened. I would probably start by replacing the pot. Also, inspect the wiring to make sure that a ground wire isn't touching up against a terminal when you put everything back together.

Peavey guitar strings.

I found these by accident while searching something else. I never even heard of them before. Has anyone tried these? Thoughts?

Re: T-60 Treble Bleed Cap Value?

You've probably got the answer by now, but for the sake of others, you only have half of that diagram. The astericks reference another part of the diagram where it says .01 for the T-40 and .001 for the T-60. Here's the whole diagram:

Re: What's your "must have" Peavey guitar?

Now I kinda want one of the later ones with the hair metal pink paint and later humbuckers. Another one I would love to have is the early Predator before it was a strat copy. The Predator that looked similar to a Horizon but had two of the Allen head humbuckers and a Kahler. This was my first Peave...

Welcome back. Love that T-30. I have those same pickups, (Super Ferittes), in a Patriot. Amazing sounding pups. Enjoy.

I know this is an old-ish thread, but I love how you did that amp/rack combo. Nice job. It get's the little gray cells working. 8)

Re: Super Ferrrite Pickups

Black and bare go to ground. Red is the "hot" output. I believe they separated the chassis ground from coil ground so that you could install an out-of-phase switch, without losing the chassis ground. And yes, The Super Ferrites are one of the pick-up worlds best kept secrets. Sweet sound. Enjoy. Artie

Sweet. I want to add a T-26 to my stable whenever I can find a nice example for not too much coin.
