Hi all, I'm currently looking for a Patriot bass to add to my small but fun Peavey collection. I've never played one, and the single pick-up is intriguing to me. Why are they so hard to find?

I found them on eBay, they shipped from The Netherlands. They were "buy it now"...now the same place has them up for bid, claiming stock is running short.

Howdy? What species are the Patriot bodies made of? In particular Red painted (on reverb) it looks translucent, it looks maple.

Hi all, I now have 3 Peavey Foundation's a Foundation S and a T-40. They all have different control knobs. 2 of the basses came without knobs, The S has Gibson type speed knobs. My red Foundation came with the black knobs with volume/volume/tone stamped on them. The T-40 has the Lightening P knobs.....

Hi all, I came across an old mid-70's Series 400 amp. Cool old relic! Not sure if it runs yet as the fuse cap is missing. There are many types of caps out there. Does anyone know what type fuse holder cap was used on these amps?

Yes. Thats what I'm going with...still not sure what the original type would be. They have used many different types of knobs over the years...

Thanks for the great link. I learned mine is fine spline.

Question...What do you all think the original knobs were? Its a 1986 foundation sunburst. I have seen many different kinds depending on year and color.
