Re: Enzo
With a heavy heart, I offer my deepest condolences to Enzo's family and friends. What a great soul we've lost. An ocean of knowledge, and always eager to help anyone and everyone. And now I know why he was often using food analogies when explaining things, and I loved that! Thanks Roger. I remember ...

I I have looked and looked and looked and obviously haven't looked in the right place to get the answers but I do have to admit to find anything about the Peavey Revolution head is really hard. .and I ...

OOPS!
I just used the search feature, and apparently it is working very well...
because I posted a thread on this FrankenPred project, about 6 years ago
Oh well, I still got her, and I still love her!

Predator Project VH
I haven't really posted here in a while because there seemed to be some bugs, but it seems they're gone now. Several years ago I had acquired a '92 Predator body to rehab, in the Van Halenized inspired style. Meanwhile kept an eye out for a suitable neck. The body sat, waiting for the right neck to ...

Re: Peavey Nitro 1 locknut issues
Wow. That’s a nice neck. I’ve never seen a Predator with a fancy birds eye maple neck. Thanks man! I completely lucked out, it's flamed, and birds eyed, it must have been a personnel's personal one-off project  It looks scalloped, but it's not, the flame figures are somewhat in sync with the ...

Re: Peavey Nitro 1 locknut issues
Years ago I installed a Kahler deluxe "string lock" (they're actually not a lock nut, like a Floyd, since the standard nut is used) on a Predator. I made a sloped flat spot to mount it on, and fit the string lock right up to the back side of the nut. It worked out very well; DSCN2077.jpg DSCN2078.jp...

Re: Logouts While Trying To Post?
This time I went to the bottom of the index page, clicked in the name field, clicked it, checked remember me, and hit login.
I did notice from my last session a few minutes ago, the only way I found to log out was to hit delete cookies.
I came back just now to test it out.

Re: Logouts While Trying To Post?
I tried getting here thru the Peavey home page, and it looked like I was logged in, but when I hit reply to post, I got a login page again, and still got the error message. So I tried again, but checked the remember me box first, which clears my auto fill suggestion drop down. Then with remember me ...

Re: Logouts While Trying To Post?
I was having some serious problems getting logged in, and I don't know what I did to get in, but now I can't log out :o EDIT- I think I discovered if I check remember me first, the safari auto fill disappears, then I click in the field, and it re-appears, then use the safari auto fill, and I can get...

Re: Sheffield 1200 EVH speaker
Wattage is additive, and should fine, but I think the 5150 412 1200s are 16 ohm speakers, and the 5150 212 combo 1200s are 8 ohm.
You might want to check approximate ohmage with a multimeter, or maybe they're stamped, or tagged to indicate their ohmage

Or just get a Supreme Head, and you're done;

Re: Peavey Stereo Chorus 212
Maybe the reverb and chorus are always on by default then, IDK.
but you would still need a footswitch to activate the relay to turn them off.
FWIW, I had the pre-teal version (No Body), but always used it with the FT SW, so I wouldn't know otherwise.

Re: Peavey Stereo Chorus 212
AFAIK, the footswitch activates a relay in the amp, that turns on the chorus, meaning the relay has to be energized, to get chorus in the signal chain.
If your's is permanently on, maybe either the relay is stuck closed, or it's been hot wired.
