Revalver4 volume not controllable from computer controls

Ok, I have a dilemma. Or maybe its the way its meant to be. When I run revalver4, I can't control the volume from my main volume control for the computer. I turn it up and down but it dont do anything. I am running a presonus audiobox, with 2 jbl monitors out of the back of it. I have a volume contr...

Re: Clean presets bank

You have to look for 3rd party 64-bit vst's. For instance, right now izotope is giving away a really great delay called DDLY. If you have the 3rd party module for revalver you can use it within the program. https://www.izotope.com/en/products/effects-instruments/ddly-dynamic-delay/ . I started to m...

Re: Clean presets bank

Yea, I've been doing research on the gear of the guitarists that I've been looking for. It's kinda tough to find some of the gear in Revalver 4 though. For instance, I was looking for a fuzz box, tape echo, etc. I know some of these things will need to be replaced with something similar but it's sti...

Re: Clean presets bank

Anywhere to get presets based on artists instead of tonal presets such as clean presets, high gain presets, etc ? I know everybody's setup may not be the same and presets may sound a lil different but a lil tweaking could do the trick. Like you said you have some Jimi Hendrix presets. I would like t...

Re: Audio Stream Splitter ?

Nevermind. I figured it out. You have to place a cab over top of the splitter. Not above it but actually over it like you're going to cover it up.

Audio Stream Splitter ?

Does anyone know if there is a guide on how to use the audio stream splitter? Like where to place it in the chain, are 2 amps needed or can it just be 1 amp and 2 cabs? How do you assign something to the red channel or the blue channel? Or at least, how do you know what is assigned to each channel? ...

Re: Static, popping noise, like clockwork

Honestly, I haven't used the JBL's for anything other than the guitar and Revalver at this point. I still have my other speakers hooked up through my av receiver for music and internet and general use.

Re: Static, popping noise, like clockwork

Yea, seems to be a pretty decent setup. I hadn't originally planned on spending so much on everything. I really just wanted to be able to play through Revalver 4 with a good sound and just mess around with recording some tracks but I guess I'm gonna have to get a lil more in depth now and learn the ...

Re: Real-time listening

Current speaker setup was just no good for this kind of thing. All the sound was jumbled together. You couldn't even hear all the repeats when using delay effect or nothing. The audiobox was an improvement over the realtone cable however but still not good enough with that speaker setup. But, I brok...

Re: Static, popping noise, like clockwork

Thanks! Well, I don't know if we have the same definition of cheap or not, but I got a pair that wasn't cheap in my eyes. But I think it was a good deal. I found the 8 inch JBL LSR308 monitors on sale for 199 each. I saved myself 100 bills for the pair. I brought them home and hooked them up and the...

Re: Static, popping noise, like clockwork

After more tests I was unable to reproduce the static/popping noise using the realtone cable and optical sound out of the computer. However, I received my Presonus Audiobox, got it up and running and 2 minutes in.......static popping again. If I open the asio4all control panel from within revalver 4...

Re: Real-time listening

Thanks guys. I have a Presonus Audiobox on the way. I'm hoping that is good enough. 100 bucks as opposed to 150 and up for others. We shall see. When I get it, I will try with my current speaker setup. If sound isn't good enough, I will get some monitors to plug into the Audiobox.

Re: Real-time listening

Thanks for the reply. I have my computer sound going to a sony av receiver for surround sound. To that receiver I have a makeshift speaker setup from 2 shelf stereo systems i had. For the front left and right, they each have a 6 1/2" woofer, 2 1/2" tweeter and 1" super tweeter. These are the ones th...
