Re: Almost 2 years since an update?

Seems like there is no interest from Peavey into Revalver anymore.
Beta tester forum seems gone too.

A lot of concerns and criticism we had in the beta forum are now true.

1. Yes.

2. I haven't tested it but I don't think so.

3. Yes, of course.

Re: usb thumb drive with license file broken

AFAIK you don't have to block up an USB port. It just has to be plugged in when you start it. Once it's started you can remove the USB device. You can also use something that is already plugged in anyways like a Keyboard or so.

You don't need to add a cab to it. The cab is built in in, hence "combo".

Re: So Far...Very Impressed on the new ACT Amp

Strange thing is that it says it wont support Mp3s but i've downloaded isolated guitars in Mp3s format and just change it to WAV extension and seems to be doing its thing, although i cant assure i'm doing it right. You do it right. I guess revalver can't do mp3 format because of licensing , so conv...

It's called user guide.

If you are on windows it should be at C:\ProgramData\Peavey Electronics\Revalver 4\userguide.pdf

If you are on mac, i don't know. :D

Re: So Far...Very Impressed on the new ACT Amp

Told you it was worth the wait! :D

Have you looked at the documentation file? I think it has been updated. Not really much of a tutorial needed imo.

Yeah. You can feed your amp into it and it tries to recreate the sound. You can use sound files of guitar sound too.
Got tons of buttons to adjust and probably has a bit of learning curve or lots of trial and error but it's a cool addition to Revalver, imo.
Let's hope it gets released soon!

Re: Can Peavey update Us on the ACT Profiler? Its been a while...

There have been a few new features added to it to get even better sound of the ACT and a few new bugs found. It's not called "Profiler" btw. As far as i understand it does NOT work like the famous profiler starting with a K. I would guess from what i read in the beta forum, the release is right arou...

Re: guitar vsti with stereo double tracking play only mono with revalver 4

You could use your reverb as an effects channel.
Keep in mind that revalver is primarily intended to work with a real guitar instead of a vsti.

Re: guitar vsti with stereo double tracking play only mono with revalver 4

Tried routing your VST instrument to two mono channels, left and right and then add revalver to both of the tracks? You could use one preset and load it on both revalver isntances, which is pretty quick and user friendly. And you can make small adjustments to either track after that. Guitars are mon...

.wav recording and bass DI are two things you usually do in a DAW.

Re: Future feature suggestions

I doubt that features that you should use a DAW for will be added.
