Re: Peavey FX Downgrade

It's not surprising that you can't get it to read any USB drives, the FX mixer was originally designed in about 2003 when Windows XP was first being announced. At the time, common jump drives were 64Mb or smaller. With the beta firmware update, we were able to get it to work with some 2Gb and even s...

Re: at 10 mixer

When you say "the level" do you mean the USB Record level control? I would say you probably have a gain structure problem. The signal is too low on the mixer buses. Are you feeding an amplifier with the main outputs? Is it turned all the way up? Well turn it down...and raise the signal level in the ...

Will it take Android Tablets?
Doug

It is compatible with any HTML 5 browser, regardless of OS platform.

In other words, yes, it works well with Android.

Re: PV 115D not powering

I would check ZD901 and ZD902 and the surrounding components.

Sometimes they fail shorted, sometimes they are just leaky.

Re: PV 6 BT getting different output with the same source between channels 3/4 and 1 and 2

You can easily google the difference between balanced and unbalanced. Sorry, more typing than I'm inclined to do at the moment and it might be easier to understand visually. On channel 3/4, the inputs are also paralleled with the 3.5mm stereo jack, which is unbalanced. To make the 1/4" balanced woul...

Re: No sound from 1st Gen FX 32

This is an old, well known problem, with a solution. The real problem is oxidation on the wire harness between the power supply and mixer circuitry. That in combination with an overly sensitive mute circuit causes exactly what you're describing. If you search this forum, the recommended modification...

Sorry, sure, it's ok to only have one sub.

And no, the monitors are not disabled when using a sub.

Re: Hooking up a single Open Box EuroLive sub woofer to a Peavey XR-1220 Mixer

You can certainly have two subwoofers. Take the sub out to the A input of your amp, then patch another cable from the A Thru jack to the B input. Now you can drive two subwoofers. I'm a little confused by your monitor question. The XR1220 is capable of two separate monitor mixes. They can both be po...

Re: PV 6 BT getting different output with the same source between channels 3/4 and 1 and 2

The 3/4 inputs are unbalanced inputs, while CH1 and CH2 inputs are balanced. With the unbalanced inputs you are losing up to 6dB of your input signal on each channel.

Re: All Red Lights on at Power-up on a PV8

You said it was DC...in the Ebay description is says 16.5 Volt AC. It looks like he copied that text from us...so it should work. If it is actually an AC supply and you're getting red lights, then you have an internal power supply issue. Probably just a blown regulator or something. DC shouldn't hur...

The non USB PV8 takes an AC power supply, not a DC supply.
