Re: What IF....[ Chapter 7 ] Cincy's Repository

There's Lehman's Hardware Store for those of us 2 or 3 hours North of you, Cincy. Although Lehman's hasn't been around nearly as long as Rabbit Hash.

Re: A Peavey Classic 50 story

It is always great when one finds it's way back home :!: Believe it or not, there were actually 2 of these same half stacks available in Cowtown back in March. I had noted them in the Craigs thread: https://forums.peavey.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=11044&sid=45ae5042f0d6540f5237a212a3104404&start=255#p...

Re: What IF....[ Chapter 7 ] Cincy's Repository

....Rotator Cuff issues. In my good shoulder of all places. It's a molehill compared to what you've been thru Cincy, but it sucks as I recently acquired a Fender Jazz Bass I enjoy playing (well I would enjoy it were it not for the [email protected]#$%^&*! rotator cuff issue). Anyhow, I hope you're enjoying your L...

Piranha aside, I am not an owner. However for exclusively late night indoor apartment jamming, I would just get a Vypyr VIP.

Re: What IF....[ Chapter 7 ] Cincy's Repository

Oh wuw that awesome which Wolfgang did you buy from pvholic? His Purple Wolfgang ST. He lives about an hour away from my Daughter, so my thought was local pickup would be safer than shipping it. Then she could bring it on a trip home, or we could pick it up on a trip to visit her. Although there wa...

Another fantastic job, Dalrymple! Your work always looks amazing!!!

When I finally get around to building my 20W JSX clone, you know I'll be asking if you will cover the headshell.

Re: Classic 20 Head with Two 112-c cabinets?

I took a look at a back panel of the C20MH and it appears to be similar to my VK20MH. You should have a switch for either 8 or 16 ohm output taps on the output transformer. The Radial CabLink will work, gives you some more options and could be used for different amps and scenarios. Just read and fol...

Re: 6505 transformer buzz

If you are going to buy a new transformer, first make some recordings of yours where the buzz can be heard. Next ask your shop to give you the old transformer they remove. Finally, you start an Internet rumor that Eddie's tone truly came from his "buzzy" transformer. Then you'll be able to sell your...

Re: What IF....[ Chapter 7 ] Cincy's Repository

Perhaps an old C20 Combo instead? They're about as easy to find as Unicorns are, but I still see them on Craigs & Used Gear sites from time to time. Also based on the schematic, the C20MH looks like it would have most C30 tones in it.

Re: Tweed Tolex - protectant / coating ?

The look never really did anything for me, however some used to shellac their tweed covered amps. I'm thinking today one could probably use one of the latest generation clear waterproofing sprays, Scotchguard Water Repellent & Sun Shield comes to mind, but I could be wrong. I've been wrong before. :...

Re: Peavey Valveking II 50 W combo schematic

Go ahead and call Peavey Customer Service to request the schematic. You will likely have it emailed to you within minutes. Contacting Customer Service via email will take longer, especially during these unusual 2020 (I've grown tired of using the "C" word) times.

Re: Classic 30 with 10" speaker

You were supposed to buy a Delta Blues 210.

However, I do like the snap when my C30 is on my C410e. Then again, my C30 also sounds great on my C412e or my Windsor 412.
